A Very Dismas Christmas Life
This is year three of doing a holiday blend and I think this might be the best yet. I'm excited to feature some custom artwork by two teenage sisters Deyana and Jasmine Williams. They did a amazing job on short notice. The holidays create a mixture of complex feelings for most of us even in the best of times and this year, well... It's been a year. So I wanted to create a blend that was pleasant to drink but captured the complexity of the season. This blend, a washed Guatemala and Natural Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, captures the spirit of the holidays with it's milk chocolate undertones and candied apricot and strawberry highlights (and no, there is no chocolate or fruit in this coffee, these are just tasting notes). This is a complex blend that will change and pleasantly surprise from the first sip to the last. So whether you use a Mr. Coffee, a pour over, French press, espresso machine or all of the above, this light/medium roast blend encapsulates the complexities that this season holds for us. I look forward to creating this blend every year, and I am very thankful that I get to share this with you.
